Used in the earth's gravity field (+/- 1g)

It consist of an inertial mass which :

-rotates around a torsion bar

- is servo controlled by means of an inductive torquer, whose currents is proportional to the applied acceleration.

The sensing element is immerged in oil in order to have a good resitance to the environment.

Torsion bar avoid friction problems.

Electronic servo loop is manufactured in Hybrid technology.
